Rinehart Trial Date Set

Danial “Danny” Rinehart is scheduled for trial April 19, 2010 in Cass County.
Rinehart, arrested in January, has been implicated in the death of a child he fathered with his teenage daughter. Prosecutors believe the man impregnated his daughter four times and had been having sex with her since she was 13.
Only one of the four children she gave birth to is still alive. That 4-year-old boy is currently in state custody.
Authorities found the bodies of two babies in coolers on rural Harrisonville property where he and his family had lived.
Rinehart is charged in one of the babies’ death, along with other charges.
