Library unveils new website

The Cass County Public Library has recently started using a new website. The updated site, at http://casscolibrary.org/ was made possible with funding from the Office of the Missouri Secretary of State and the Missouri State Library.
From Assistant Director Seth Hershberger:
The site has many new features to promote the library’s programs and
resources. Each branch has a blog on the website that patrons can read and
post about book club selection and library programs. The site features a
new directory of databases and websites by topic, homework help for
students, and recommended websites for children.A calender allows patrons to view upcoming events for each branch, and patrons can sign up to receive Twitter updates about what is going on at the library. From the website, patrons can also access the online catalog to search, renew items, or place holds on thousands of best-selling books, dvds, and audiobooks.
The library is requesting feedback on the new website and you can follow the daily Twitter updates HERE.
Thanks for the post!
Also remember that the library is the place to go for free Wi-Fi. Just ask for a password at the desk, open your laptop, and surf. No time limit. Available in all the branches.
