Sheriff to conduct “Operation Clean Slate”
Posted By J.T. on May 27, 2009
From the sheriff’s office: Cass County Missouri Sheriff Dwight Diehl in cooperation with Cass County Associate Circuit Court Judge William Collins and Cass County Prosecuting Attorney Teresa Hensley, in an attempt to reduce the number of outstanding criminal arrest warrants currently being held by the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, will conduct “Operation Clean Slate.”
This multi-agency coordination will be held between June 7 and June 13, 2009 and will allow any individual presently being sought on a misdemeanor warrant through Cass County Missouri, to turn themselves into the Sheriff’s Office. Subjects will be given a court date to dispose of their case and be released on their own recognizance without posting a bond.
This is an effort not only to reduce the number of outstanding warrants, but also to allow each individual the opportunity to resolve any criminal or potential criminal matter that may currently be pending.
All felony and misdemeanor warrants can be viewed on the Cass County Sheriff’s Office website at www.cassmosheriff.org and clicking on the Misdemeanor Warrant tab. If you have any questions please contact the Sheriff’s Office at 816-380-5200.

This seems to be a great way to get your problems taken care of without going to jail. What a great program!!
