PHDA Car Cruise

Although there were just a handful of vehicles lined up on First Street at the first Pleasant Hill Downtown Association (PHDA) Car Cruise last Friday, May 15, and the event was shortened by the threat of severe weather, car enthusiasts still enjoyed themselves. The first of five cruises planned for the summer of 2009, several classic cars and trucks made up a nice display— until the heavy rains and threat of hail, high winds and other damaging aspects of the storm, forced the vehicle owners to get these beauties back under cover! The next PHDA Car Cruise is slated for Friday, June 19, then on the third Fridays in July, August and September.
