Public Meeting to be held April 21

Two public meetings will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 to discuss proposed improvements at the Harrisonville Wastewater Treatment Plant and to receive the comments and views of interested citizens. Both meetings will be held at the Harrisonville Community Center and will run consecutively.
The first meeting will start at 6 p.m. and will present and discuss alternative wastewater treatment plans and improvements.
The second meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. to explain the proposed user charge system, advise sewer system users of anticipated costs, and answer any questions concerning the user charge system.
Copies of the facility plan describing the project and the user charge system are available for public inspection at Harrisonville City Hall, 300 E. Pearl.
Written comments may be submitted to the City of Harrisonville and will be entered into the meeting record if received within seven (7) days after the date of the meeting.
